Thyroid - Hyperthyroidism
No New Posts Grave's Disease
The leading cause of hyperthyroidism, Graves? disease, represents a basic defect in the autoimmune system, causing production of immunoglobulins (antibodies) which stimulate and attack the thyroid gland. This causes growth of the gland and overproduction of thyroid hormone. Similar antibodies may also attack the tissues in the eye muscles and in the pretibial skin (the skin on the front of the lower leg).

No New Posts After RAI treatment
We do not encourage RAI on thyroid problems if there is an option. When thyroid gland has not been greatly destroyed by Radioactive Iodine, still have a chance to get full recovery with HealthGuard T18.

You may ask to reduce the dose of Thyroxine, hormone replacement medication when you have noted hyperthyroid symptoms or signs occured. After lowered down the dosage of Thyroxine, symptoms such as 'heat' feeling inside body, hands/fingers shaking, sweating and fast heart beat could be vanished. How is your status now?
