Q16.

How does a smooth, healthy microcirculation response?

Under the normal condition, the diameter of red blood cell is 7 micron. The capillary wall is very thin in order for easy exchange takes place. The capillaries run throughout the body with a web-like network embedded in tissue, are slightly smaller than the red blood cells. Red blood cells have elasticity, so they can be changed their shape by arteries and pass through the thin and devious capillaries. Surface of red blood cells contain negative charges, so they repulse each others. Cells disperse and freely flow. At this time, the microcirculation is smooth, and the organs are in healthy condition.
